About Ramona

Ramona Bracy is a lifelong public servant committed to strengthening communities, improving government services, and ensuring residents can access the support they need. She is currently spearheading statewide modernization efforts at the Office of the State Treasurer, working to make it easier for Delawareans to interact with their state government.

During her career in public service, Ramona has held roles that span administration, accounting, training, and organizational change. A Prosci-certified Organizational Change Management professional and Continuous Improvement Practitioner, she is known for streamlining processes, improving operations, and guiding teams through change with clarity and compassion. Across every role, her focus has remained the same: helping people, strengthening systems, and delivering results.

Service is central to Ramona’s life beyond her professional work. She comes from a proud military family and is the mother of two daughters educated in the Caesar Rodney School District.

Ramona has long been active in community service, including more than a decade as a Girl Scout leader, volunteering with local food and outreach programs, fostering dogs for area rescues, and supporting youth and school organizations throughout Kent County. She has also participated in the Dover Citizens Police Academy, and she regularly takes part in 5K events supporting good causes.

Everything Ramona does – professionally, personally, and in the community – is rooted in service, integrity, and the belief that government works best when it works for the people. She is committed to bringing that same focus and energy to the Kent County Recorder of Deeds office.
